I knew eventually after reading all this poetry I’d be inspired to try to put something together, I didn’t edit it or anything so that it might come off natural. Perhaps it may even be modern in its own way. Hope some of you enjoy it:

The Summer’s hand reach through the cracks of September,

And gave me her,

Without a name I could pronounce

And said…”Take her she’s yours”

I shrugged and placed her in my knapsack of a life

Along with my trinkets

We’re dumb and young

Like leaves

Stirred by the air with ease

One day she utters,

“I love you” and I felt feverish

Cold and hot at once and knew

I took this girls heart for a stool

We’ve ended it since and since, I’ve felt like a fool
