The reason, dear Tyler, our blog is “dead” is, in large part, that as few as we are, there are actually people who have yet to respond to the prompt I posted (almost ten days ago!) on a Baudelaire translation.  There are those who have yet to post something on Williams or Crane!  And… no one seems to want to get an actual DIALOGUE going by reading and responding to the posts others place on the blog.  That’s why things are “dead.”  Which leaves me to think: I have to assign numbers and days to individuals for posting, and I have to assign grades to posts!  How unfortunate…..

Why don’t you guys write about the workshop you attended last Tuesday?  That would be time and space well-used.
